Inspiration can be found anywhere…
Nicolas Awde recently reflected on an
inspirational moment while searching through some reference materials and old
newspapers that contained elements relative to the story of A Century of
November.
Upon opening one of the newspapers there was a photo
of a child running to his father. This reminded him of growing up with his
Grandfather (WW2 Vet).
After reading the article he felt compelled to
call his Grandfather and thank him.
His Grandfather replied "thank me for
what?"
Nicolas said "thank you for giving me the opportunity to be able
to live the life I have and become the human being I am today". He
questioned further, "what do you mean?" Nicolas answered, "If it
wasn't for people like you that sacrificed their lives so that others didn’t
have to in the way that you did… again… thank you for all that you are and all that
you have done".
This story below continues to inspire A Century
of November…
